We are taught that healing comes through prayer:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14
We’re told to bring our requests before Him:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. - Phil 4:6
And we know He hears our prayers:
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. - James 5:16
A clear sign of the health of a youth fellowship is its willingness to pray for others.
